Company History

The Porch is run by Chris and Julie Athanasiou. It started when Chris fell in love with the Adirondack style of chair, but was unable to easily find a supplier in Australia. Much research time later, Chris had set up a collection of the chairs of differing designs.

He soon realised that the classic design and comfort of the chairs was perfect for the Australian backyard, beach and patio lifestyle, and decided to use his extensive knowledge of the product to set up his own business specialising in this style of furniture, with a range that caters for all tastes and budgets.

Chris and Julie work from home in Kallista in the Dandenong Ranges of Victoria. You are welcome to come and have a look at our display, but please call to make sure we are home!
