About the Squatters Chair
Early Australian settlers, some of whom took up parcels of land and became squatters, first introduced the squatters chairs in the 1800s.

Timber
- KWILA (or Merbau) is a tropical hardwood which is found throughout Northern Australia, South East Asia, and the South Pacific region.
- Kwila has been chosen for its superior qualities and suitability for outdoor garden furniture. Its stability and natural resistance to splitting provides furniture which can remain permanently in all types of harsh climates.
- The Australian Department of Primary Industries has given Kwila a Rating One, which is the highest standard of suitability for timber outdoor furniture.

Shipping & Assembly
- Chair supplied in a partly assembled kit form.
- Assembly takes less than 10 minutes, with only 8 bolts required.
- All supplied with an allen key and easy to follow instructions.
Canvas sling and headrest
The sling material is heavy duty Sunbrella fabric and is available in the colours linen tweed and black. A head cushion adds extra comfort.
